CenturyLink claims I must call Verizon, but Verizon can not find my account, and therefore can not help.
Verizon says call CenturyLink.

What problem are you experiencing?
I could not place long distance calls. Incoming long distance calls worked.
What I really need is an official support document from Verizon that I can use to force CenturyLink to take the lead on the problem investigation.

That sounds like an issue with you service provider, not Verizon. Your long distance provider may not be set up correctly, or someone may have deleted it.
