Have a GE  s-8 GHZ Digital ..there is so much noise that the people sound like there not loud enough to get their voice to overcome the noise . This is intermittant but mostly it is noise . Netcheck says the phone line is okay .

Hey CallBob, do you have this issue on all of your phones even the none cordless phone and if you have all cordless phones try changing the channel on the receiver.  If you have FIOS and you have a corded phone you can test at ONT line test to see if you have static at the port but if you don't then its a wiring issue.
