I have DSL but want to get rid of my land line

I have DSL but want to get rid of my land line. I do not use my phone with all the options and the cost is expensive. Is it possible for this to happen??

Ahh in the very very olden days you could have stand alone DSL (I had it ages ago when going to college ) Verizon would send you a westell and the filters etc. and just activated it via an assigned node identifier. Alas not anymore.
