I have to agree that Verizon's service is not what it used to be.

Its true....Verizon used to be spot on with their communication and quality of service.  I've been with them for about 20 years that I remember, but when I hooked up my internet it was not right, and took soooo many phone calls to them and from them to get it right.  Now a year or so later, I tried to add a land line and again, nothing but bad communication and being charged for what I didn't ask for, and just plain a waste of my time trying to get it all straightened out.  When my contract is up, I believe I will be switching to another provider.  Too bad....Verizon used to be soooo dependable.

Yes, but it was much easier when all there was amounted to a single twisted pair phone line 20 years ago. That's how i got my Internet back then (well 15 yrs ago anyway).
