Even though I have unlimited long distance as part of my package, I want to prevent them from being daild. How do I do that?
I was told it was easy to set up, which is why I switched to Digial Voice.
There is no such thing as a long distance call on FIOS Digital Voice. Every call is the same. This is why you have to dial area code to make even local calls. It doesn't matter what state you call (Florida, California, etc ), all calls are treated the same on the Verizon system and theres no additional charges. You can think of your "long distance" calls as all being free on Digital Voice. You have the ability to block International Long distance calls, but I don't think that is what your referring to.
