Internet outage?

In Frederick here and using my iPhone. DSL Is not connecting to the Internet. After power-Viking everything twice, I logged into my DSL modem to see that it thought it was also connected. This tells me the issue is beyond my equipment.

I'm new to the state and Verizon. Is this typical of Verizon in this area?

Same thing here, in Central PA. 

I've actually noticed a lot of small outages lately, but I think that's on my end. They don usually last this long either. Just a few minutes. Hope it's back up soon.
