Is landline service to zip code 23803 not working

I have had intermediate phone service with my land line since a major electrical outage in May occurred.  Since then my landline phone is off more then it is on.  I have called and reported etc. etc. etc.  No one can seem to fix it.  As of today Sunday, July 18th my phone has been out complete since Friday, July 16th and no one can help at all.  I thought that if you had a land line it would work, but I guess I am wrong.  Thank you.

My power went out yesterday for 10 seconds and now my land line is not working either.  It is really annoying because I work from home.  Also, I put a report through and they gave me a date of 7/30.  I dont understand why they cant fix it sooner.  But it sounds like a lot of people are having this problem.
