I had my number changed because the telemarketing calls were unbearable, got the new number Monday this week and made sure Verizon had it as unlisted and i'm paying extra for it yet last night I get a call from a number I dont know, thought it might be someone calling for the privious owner but no I answer and the caller asks for me, I was livid I started cusing him out and he hung up. I only put the new number up on my sons school website which requires a login so I thought it was safe, so it was either thru his school or Verizon is selling these unlisted numbers or has a breech???
These days robocallers go though every number in an exchange, and completely ignore do not call rules.
