I have two landlines running into my house...one of which works and the other--I use for my home office--which does not. I was told by Verizon tech supervisors that they are aware of the issue, it is on their end and that they can have someone come look at it between now and August 5th...so sometime in the next two weeks. Obviously this is unacceptable, but I couldn't get anyone to really care that much about it. Does anyone know of any third party companies in Virginia that can have contracts with Verizon to work on their lines and can be contacted directly? It seems that the issue thus far is relegated to my one line.
