Landline Phone Porting issues

Comcast has twice tried to port my landline phone without permission.
The first time was late July. We had an order to port to comcast which we cancelled within the 3 day grace period.
It took three days of phone calls between comcast and verizon to finally resolve the issue.
On Sept 11 2012 comcast again submitted the port request to verizon.
I've called comcast customer support they say they don't have the number, and Verizon says they can't get the number because comcast has it. I'm now in phone limbo.
I've called Verizon customer support and they couldn't help. I asked for a number to the number porting department and it goes directly to a voicemail system.
Looking for someone that can actually help.
