Our copper landline stops working every time we get a good rain. I've lost count of how many service requests I've submitted and how many times technicians have visited over the past several years, but the problem continues (I just submitted a new service request tonight for our latest episode). How can I elevate this problem so that something actually gets fixed?
I have been in the same boat for the last two years. Worse, for me when my copper pair goes down, so does my third party DSL service.
Verizon FIOS has been installed in the buildings surrounding me like a ring, yet there are no known plans for FIOS to be installed in my building. The technicians actually stated that the trunk was damaged and would likely never be replaced, and "why haven't you gotten FIOS yet?"
With the current outage, it's been indicated that the entire trunk has gone down, with no known time of restoration. I just got a call offering a wireless phone bridge.

To say I'm fustrated is an understatement.
