My next door neighbor's Verizon landline is hanging across my driveway, blocking my vehicles from coming and going. I managed to get someone's attention via chat, and someone will be coming by in the next 48 hours. I assured them that by then the line will have been torn from the pole, perhaps taking with it more important wires, as I need to get to work, and was assured that a technician will make this a priority.
So, I was notified that they'll be out between noon and 4pm on Tuesday, in 2 days. My neighbor has also tried to make contact, but who knows what results they have had. This is not the first time this has happened. They'll be out and use plastic zip-ties to reattach it to the other wires, which degrade in sunlight, and we'll be back here again, with wires draped across our driveway. If there's a phone number to call to vent to an actual human being, that would be great, otherwise I appreciate the opportunity to vent here.
This seems like a higher priority issue than they think it is, but maybe I'm being a spoiled brat or something. The wire is hanging about waist height, and will be no match for my Expedition.....
Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and scroll down the page to an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name located above your post, or at the top right of this page.
Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. The title of your post is the link. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. To ensure you know when they have responded to you, you may subscribe to the case. At the top right of your support case there is a gear icon which provides a drop down menu with support case options. Click that and choose "subscribe". Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.
