Im reading a forum post from six (6) years ago about people not being able to move their home number to my new address. Its 2018, and apparently Verizon still cannot get this right.
I called on Sept 26, 2018 and was told that it was possible, and it will take 3-5 business days. Cool.
2+ weeks later, no changes and my old phone number is still at the old house. I called a customer rep only to find out - "this isn't possible." How can it NOT be possible, you own both lines?? This is a configuration change that the right person simply needs to do.
Do I have to cancel my new service and get Optimum to keep my new number?
