My Verizon phone log shows my home is calling fax number 866-223-9545 every day at same time. We do not have a fax machine so I suspect that it is either Verizon or our security system. I called Verizon and they said it wasn't their number. I called our current and former security system provider and they said it's not theirs. Does anyone have a similar thing on their Verizon phone log?
What devices do you have connected to your router. One of them may do such a phone call.
tns2, Thanks for replying. By turning off and disconnecting them at the time when the outgoing fax call occurs, I've eliminated a laptop and printer/fax. The outgoing call to the fax number still occurs. It happens when my wife and I aren't home so it can't be our cell phones. Other than those, we have two Set Top Boxes, a Samsung Blu-Ray player, and a Kindle. Our TV panels do not have wi-fi and are connected via the FiOS coax. I will turn off the Kindle for 24 hours to see if it can be eliminated.
