New landline installed today

We just had fios triple play installed today.  I thought we were keeping our old phone number.  That apparently is not the case.  Other than what shows up on my cell phone when I call it, I have no idea if that is the new number or if I am supposed to have my old number.  The old number goes straight to voicemail when it is called.
