No Dial Tone- Electrical work outside led to cut off power

Lost phone - no dial tone/busy signal to call following some external electrical re-wiring earlier this week in which the power was turned off.  Believe this may be the  cause of the problem.  Wondering if this  Verizon can somehow re-set w/o having to actually come out on a service call (currently scheduled for tomorrow-no specific time assigned).

When the main box loses contact with Verizon, that removes their ability to communicate with it. So they can't reset remotely.

You can reboot it manually, and i'd recommend trying.
