No Dialtone/Static/Noise on Landlines Phone (Copper) & DSL Interference

Over the last month or so I have had constant this being the third time with my landline. This time the DSL Modem was on & off.

What is going on?????????

Spoke to Verizon and I alway get an inconvenient contact time. Service needs to be better.

I'm having the same problem. We had a power failure yesterday that lasted about 6 hours and now I can't get a dial tone on my landline. I've tried calling it and it goes to voicemail so at least I know it's still in service (more or less). Just no dial tone.
