No Dialtone

Today I was supposed to have Verizon come out and hook up a home phone service. I guess they did what they needed to do because when I checked my order status it said 100 percent complete. No one ever came to my apartment nor did I hear from anyone. When I checked the phone to see if it was working it had no dialtone so I figured it was just the phone, so I went and bought  different phone. Same thing, no dialtone. Can anyone help me?

Hi Alp23, are there multiple jacks in the house that you can try & plug the phone into see if you get dial tone there. IF still no dialttone might need to call back up & have a technician get it up to your aparment from the NID.Thanks Brett
