No Stutter Tone indicating VM messages
I just switched from my previous plan (with functioning VM) to a package including High Speed Internet. Since the changeover, I do not get a stutter tone, even though there are messages in my voice mail.

Have you tested to make sure it's working otherwise? Call your number, let it ring to VMS, leave a message, dial in and verify that that message is waiting for you.

You might want to call in to customer service to see if you have the audible message waiting indicator feature on your account.
