No dial tone in a new apartment

I am wondering whether I can use verizon phone and DSL at my new apartment where FIOS had been installed.

The simple answer is typically not.  Once FiOS equipment in installed the previous copper equipment is usually removed.  However, that's not to say that is definitely the case for you.  That's just the normal deal.  You can either call our sales and billing dept (1-800-VERIZON; 1-800-837-4966) to verify DSL availability or you can PM me your address and I can check for you.
