I have not had any phone service since before Thanksgiving (NOV. 2017). I have had 4-6 service technicians out to repair the problem,(latest on 12/22/2017) to no avail. Spent 8 -10 hours on my cell phone with Cust. service/Repair with unsatisfactory responses. Verizon offered to convert my service to FIOS at no charge. Their contractor finally came out on Mon 12/18/2017, drilled holes in several apartments ,bldg phone room, basement,garage etc. ran the conduit cable to my apartment and said verizon will be out to finish runing the FIOS cable. After speaking with several Verizon CSR they said they will escalate to someone who will help resolve the my problem.
FYI: Verizon just called me to say that the problem will be repaired next Fri 12/29/17
Please note these forums are mostly peer to peer. Since you clearly have a problem being handled (perhaps badly) by customer service, you are unlikely to hear from the Verizon Forum Admins who are about the only Verizon people here.
