How do I stop that one ring for the Nomorobo feature? I recall having the spam calls show up on the tv screen or the phone display but did not have that one ring. It was and peaceful in the house. I also recently replaced my landline phones from Unidens to Panasonic. So I'm not sure if it's the phone model that has made the difference or it's a setting in Nomorobo I need to make. How can I disable that one ring? Any help or suggestion is greatly appreciated.
Solved! Go to Correct Answer
You can't.
It uses a feature called dual ring.
This allows an incoming call to ring simultaneously on two numbers.
So the nomorobo service has to see the incoming ring.
This happens the same time both for them and on your phone.

My Panasonic phone has an option to suppress first ring. Works great
