Odd Problem Calling Out

I have dial tone. I can receive calls. When I dial out I do not hear it ringing. The person who I am calling receives the call, answers it, and there is no one there. I have tried calling all my friends, wife, daughters and the same thing happens. I called my mothers house (no one is there currently) and it does ring on my end. I believe she still has the old pulse phone setup. How do I resolove this?

That is a strange problem, but it seems like the problem has to be in the phone or the phone line.  Which leads me to 2 suggestions.

1. Try a different phone.  If you haven't already.
2. Contact customer support.
