My one bill usually runs about $70 per month.  This month the bill is $143.28.  Since I have not changed my habits, I wonder why the doubling of my bill.  I cannot afford to pay this amount.  What gives?

Are  you sure you paid the bill before the closing date  ?

It could be the new bill is for the current and past due amount
