Phone Line

I woke up this morning and my land line phone isn't working.  It's telling me to check the telephone line.  My internet is working however, on the same line.  How can that be???

Did you check all the telephone connections and try a different telephone? It could be a problem with the telephone itself.

I have the same dilema.    I hooked up an older corded phone with no change.  Not dial tone..Just a loud buzz.  can;t get thru to Verizon on phone.  Used up cell minutes trying.  Seriously considering dropping the whole service and using just my cell.  Some better pick up soon.
