Phone Message Service

I am not able to stop the phones from signalling there is a message.  The light keeps flashing and, prior to dailing, I get the sounds indicating a msg.   Always hear "there are no messages". Now I am wondering if I am even getting my messages.  Very strange for me to have no messages,

Sorry to hear about the annoyance of the message indicator being stuck on. You can clear this by logging into your voicemail. It will tell you that you have no new messages. Press the * button on your phone over and over until you are exited from the system. This should clear the indicator. If it doesn't for some reason, please reply back.
