Hi,
I will be travelling most of the time for 3/4 months.
I do not want to terminate the service.
Is there a way to keep the phone in custody and turn it on when I am back?
What are the charges for the custody?
Thank you.
Just a friendly reminder, this is a forum where users help other users. It looks like your issue may require a Verizon representative to review your account details. Please visit our Support page for a variety of ways to contact Verizon, including “Ask Verizon,” our virtual chat agent, and customer support phone numbers.
Verizon has a vacation mode that the circuit can be placed into for such events. Generally, the cost for the line will just be for taxes and the basic connection fees since 911 service will still be mandatory, although you may talk to a Verizon rep to determine how much the fees will run.
No tech rolls are needed for this, as Verizon will be able to program their switch to block all calls except for 911 service. A tech roll would normally occur if you were cancelling your account entirely.
