Verizon:
Both my wife and I are in our 80's and have trouble at times hearing the phone ring. Both of us are having earing oss problems. Is there anythinh that Verizon can do to increase the volumn of our ring? Thank you.

The ringer is a function of the phone, not the phone company. If you are having problems hearing the phone ring there are a few things you can try.
I'm not sure what kind of phone you have but see if there is a volume button on the phone. On our home cordless phone we can increase the volume when the phone is ringing by pressing the up arrow button. Some phones have the option of changing the ringer too. The default ringer was too low for my neighbor and I changed it to a ring they could hear.
Hope that helps.
