Poor repair service

We went on vacation and when we came back our phone is not working.  We can call out but when someone calls us the phone rings once and then cuts out.  I called the repair department and told them that the only time we have trouble with our phone is when they work on the box on the pole at the end of the street.  They ran some tests and said yes the problem was outside but he didn't know where it was and it would take up to a week for someone to  come out here to check.  POOR POOR POOR SERVICE.  Verizon messed it up I'm positive.  Every other time it's only taken them 10 or 15 minutes to fix it.  But we have to go for a week without people being able to call us.  We lived in this house for 43 years and have always had verizon.  But not anymore I'm switching both my phone and cable to Time Warner (Spectrum).

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and scroll down the page to an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name located above your post, or at the top right of this page.

Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. The title of your post is the link. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. To ensure you know when they have responded to you, you may subscribe to the case. At the top right of your support case there is a gear icon which provides a drop down menu with support case options. Click that and choose "subscribe". Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.
