Hi All:
I have been running into issues porting my landline to a mobile carrier.
I am planning to switch to internet only due to pricing but want to make sure my landline is transferred first.
Need a little assistance because the agent on chat said it isn't possible.
Thanks,
dg
Porting is a simple process. You first get a new phone provider, you give your phone number all 10 digits, your present pin or account number as well as the address of the present provider. The new provider will then do the port for you.
in many cases the account pin is the last 4 digits of your social security number or a pin previously picked by you. Sometimes both. Depends on the service.
