Problem with voice service

Although I have a repairman coming out in a few days, I have a problem that others may have experienced.  I have both local/long distance and DSL service, all on the same line.  I appear to have uninterrupted DSL service, but not dial tone on my phones.  Any thoughts?

While they do all work on the same copper lines... they work on different pairs, and as long as the physical lines are fine, it is indeed possible for one to stop working and the other remain

More than likely the issue would not be at your house... but anything is possible, and you will find out when the ech fixes the issue
