Can anyone tell me how i can reach someone at Verizon to remove a non-working telco pedestal from my yard? Frustrating!!!

Look for a metal marker what will state who owns it.
call 1-800-VERIZON and see if you can get it removed. If for an alternative method call your city, town, village engineers office they may be able to get better results.
you could also call your states Public Utilities Commission or Public Service Commission to have them get in touch with the proper company
