I recently relocated to my current address. After requesting that my service be transferred here I was told a tech. Would be here on Aug 9. Of course the strike was called on the 5th. I have only prepaid cell phone service which as become costly. There is no way to contact Verizon again to let them know I still have no service. Here is the icing on the cake.......I received a bill today for
$105.00 covering the period of time I've had no services could switch to comcast but then I would have no way to prove I've had no service. I'm ready to make this a congressional issue since I reside in a senior citizen complex and it is very dangerous no to have access to a phone.
ive got the same issue as you , I only moved from the botten basement apt to upstairs . Im now being told after ive had multipal tickets , that they have closed out over and over as being completed when infact they was not , told that they are not currently doing any installs at this time. Good luck getting service .. Unfortantly for me there my only sevice provider , so I have a small child at home and no 911 service. Ive turned them into the va corp commision.....
You should be able to go to my Verizon and find a item for checking trouble tickets. Of course with the strike going on no idea how long it is taking them to respond to service calls.
I am sorry for your inconvenience.
The place to check on trouble tickets is http://www.verizon.com/repair
Unfortunately, "moved" services is more so like an installation right now.
We apologize we were unable to make your installation appointment. A Verizon representative will contact you to set up another appointment as soon as one becomes available.
