After all the solicitation by Verizon (thru e-mail, mail, phone) on their Triple Play (Internet, TV & Phone in one bundle),
I decided to change few weeks ago. Verizon said I can only have one provider for the phone line and would call my current
International call provider to cancel and change it to Verizon. When Verizon called and cancelled my current plan, they forgot to assign a international call plan on my Verizon account and charged me $5.00/min when my old plan was $0.07/min.
When I found out Verizon charged me $256.00 for 54 Min of international call (old provider would have costed $4.00), I called customer service 3 times, e-mailed once but I only received $53.00 in credit and Verizon said that is the best they can do and I have pay the difference of $200.00. What the ****? They called, e-mailed and send letters saying Triple Play Bundle will save me money but now it is going to cost me additional $200.00. I am definitely thinking of changing all services including cell phone plans when contracts expire.
