Why in the world would Verizon cut off my phone line at 3AM the night before my installation of Verizon Gigabit service? Cutting off the phone line caused the burglar alarm to trip and traumatized a family of 6 at 3AM! I was told by the very nice tech who came to install the upgraded hardware that it was cut off so the upgraded equipment could be installed. How could you leave us without an operable phone? What if there was an emergency? I have serious doubts if what you did was even legal!!
