Suggestion for Call Blocking on HomePhone

I wish Verizon would either lift the restriction on the numbers that can be added to the call block from 300 to unlimited

- or -

Provide a way to block numbers by area code + prefix (412-795-xxxx) . Too many spammers now have blocks of 100 DIDs they alternate through and would be nice to block them at the prefix level.

This feature would be the single biggest improvement to call blocking since it was implemented!

Thank You!

They spoof callerid. They don't own any of those numbers.

So it becomes a game of whack a mole.

If you sign up for NoMoRoBo (its free) it can help.

But until they get full caller id authentication, it is always going to be a chore.

This is in regards to the VoIP landline, so NoMoRoBo won't help. The FIOS website allows me to block up to 300 hundred numbers from my recent call log and it works GREAT. But as you say, they spoof the numbers which are why it would be super handy if we could block an entire area code or prefix. It really shouldn't be hard given they've already got the infrastructure to block specific numbers.

Thank you for the suggestion though, much appreciated!
