how can i have my phone service suspended for a certain number of hours each day?

Only thing I know of that comes close in Verizon is a feature call DO NOT DISTURB. It says it's not avail in my state of NY so i'm not seeing the details.

I can accomplish this in another way with my current setup though.

I use Google Voice. My google voice number is the one i share with the world..

In Google Voice settings i can set which of my numbers to forward the calls to. It can be set to have schedules etc..

This would allow me to only have the calls forward to my Verizon line at times I specify.
