Telemarketing Calls - NOISY

Since we got FIOS and Digital Voice, many Telemarketing calls end with a couple seconds of loud Beeps that sound like a dial tone. This happens on calls  that go to our answering machine, and some we pick up. Also, some calls are very garbled and noisy.  Are these problems anyone else has noticed?    Are they related to the VOIP phone service we now have?

Yes!!  it is obnoxious.  I don't know what the solution is though unfortunately.  I have had digital voice for a 3 of years now and it just started happening this year.
