Anyone know if Verizon is planning on changing the format of the Voice Mail which is being emailed out? The bottom line is I had Vonage & had voice mails emailed to me. I could hear them just fine on my Android based phone. When I switched to Verizon I can no longer hear them on my phone. If both Verizon and Android are going to continue to stand their ground (much like congress & the president) someone is going to loose and it will not me (or the public). The link http://androinica.com/2009/11/workaround-gsmwav-voicemail-attachments-in-android/ has a very good technical discussion. Remember money does speak very loudly & companies will listen when the bottom line is at stake.
