So I'm new to Verizon FiOS and digital voice service. I left Comcast and Vonage about a month ago. Love the FiOS service for the speed, but I have to admit that the phone service leaves me wanting a bit more.
One of the main features I miss of Vonage was the ability to have WAV files of your voicemails emailed to you when they are left by the caller. I have Verizon Call Assistant set up, and it's nice to get the emails to notify me of a new message. It's also nice to have the ability to listen to the messages via my computer (when I can sign in...). However, I'd like to know if we'll ever see the option of getting the voicemails sent to us as attached wav files.
This is handy when you carry a smartphone and can listen to the wav files that way. I did this all the time when I was with Vonage.
Given that you can easily save the VM message via the Call Assistant interface on the computer, I would think it wouldn't be too much more effort to just automatically email that.
Thanks,
Bob
