Copper land line died last week (a regular occurrence where I live). Tech came out Friday and fixed it. Problem up the road somewhere. Ever since then my phone has had a weird ring on it. Like one long - two short two - two short - one short. Called Verizon, they say it's my phone. This is a newer (maybe 3-5 yrs old) Panasonic. Nobody here changed any settings. Verizon had me plugin an older phone (maybe 20 years old) and it rang normally but I don't think problem is my phone. I've double checked the settings. I don't have voice mail. What could be the issue?
