Which Call Blocker to Use

Hi,

I'm helping my mother and I want to stop all the scam calls and robocalls etc. that she's getting. I'm pretty sure her telephone service is via Verizon, I guess that makes it VOIP.

I'm looking at CPR V5000 Call Blocker for Landline Phones. 

Is anyone here using that or a similar product? Please tell me about your experiences.

Does she have regular landline service or via FiOS.

With Fios service, you can get nomorobo for free.

It does ring your line once then stops.

BTW, no call blocker will stop all calls. There are just too many numbers for it to know about all of them.
