blocking 800-000-0000

I keep getting phone calls with a caller ID of 800-000-0000. There is no associated phone number shown, just that 800-000-0000 caller ID that looks like a phone number. I have incoming anonymous call blocking turned on, but this does not seem to stop this call.

I also use nomorobo but that also does not block this call.

Googling that number shows that many people say it is a scam.

Any suggestions how how I can stop this call?

i GET THIS PROBLEM WITH 000-000-0000: NOT 800

Note check the number on the verizon site, and try blociking it there.  I've seen cases where the callerid and phone number are different, confusing your attempts to block.

I've been able to block 000-000-0000, but haven't seen 800-000-0000.  Obviously both numbers are invalid.
