Hi, i used to have a service called Call Intercept on my account, which blocked all calls without identifying information, and gave the caller the option to state their name, at which time the call would ring through.

Apparently it is no longer offered in California. Considering the proliferation of nuisance calls we all receive, why did Verizon take a step backward and eliminate a useful service. How do we go about reinstating it?
