What a piece of crap this service is.
Dial local area code for all local calls, are you kidding me? This is 2010 not 1910.
Cisco Call Manager and Vonnage have been doing this for years... Why can't verizon's piece of crap software do it?
I'm not a fan of 10 digital dialing but its more of the way things are going. Sorry dude, this is 2010 and expect more of it down the road.

I agree with the previous poster. You can't blame Verizon for that. I've had 10-digit dialing for about 10-15 years in MD. Also had Comcast's Voice service and had 10-digit diualing as well. I will admit that with Verizon having to dial a "1" should be fixed. Nothing like going on your caller ID and hitting redial and then getting the tone saying you have to dial a "1" first. Then you have to memorize the number from caller ID and redial it with a "1".
