I have stopped getting email notifications from Verizon which told me that I had gotten a phone call on my land line. This was a handy feature for me when I travelled as I could look at my email from another computer or phone and see who called. Now I get phone calls but no email notifications. Has Verizon changed this?

Probably not, but it's possible that the setting itself has somehow been altered. I have encountered several instances of unwanted changes in settings using VZ Digital Voice (particularly Do Not Disturb).
On the "My Verizon" site, go to Services/Home Phone/Settings, and at the bottom of the Settings Page there is a Call Notification feature. Set it as desired.
Thank you. The next day the notifications started coming as usual. So it may have been a temporary glitch.
