I only have occasional use for long distance calling (not enough to justify an unlimited plan). Is the 5 cent pay by min option still available, or do I have to buy long distance cards at the store?

I don’t remember Verizon using prepaid cards. I think on the wireless side it was possible. But home phone. I just don’t think so.
i remember in days long gone the AT&T Universal Card and the MCI cards that was used for phoning. (Verizon absorbed MCI many years ago to grab up their fiber optics)
