Verizon makes it virtually impossible to get support for landline phones. I have horrible static on both ends of all calls, even at the NID box, with multiple phones. The Verizon Troubleshooter (what a misnomer) runs you around in circles, but doesn't get you anywhere. You used to be able to email Verizon with phone problems, but they took that option away, too. I guess it removes the responsibility of actually solving customer problems. Why is it that Verizon's number one goal is to provide the worst customer service possible?? If Verizon does not want to support landline phones anymore, then give us something you will support.
There is a feature in the troubleshooter for you to report a problem and schedule a repair. Have you used that?
