For two weeks now I keep getting phone calls meant for a different number, which is in a different area code. What's going on? Verizon tech people does not know. Can anyone here help? Verizon agrees to send someone to check but tells me I may have to pay for the repair! Yikes!
It is Verizon's pratice to say that charges may incur just in case they do find it to be an issue with your phone or inside wiring if you don't have a maintenance plan. Along with getting calls for this other number are you still getting calls on your number ? There has been cases of cross wires on copper lines but it is very rare on FIOS. Let us know what happens with the Tech.
