my voice mail will not play

When I click to play a message, either I'm asked to run a program and then nothing happens, or I'm not asked to run a program and nothing happens.  I have the latest JAVA version.

It's working for me.  I got the prompt to load the add-on when clicking the play button on a message (there must have been an update since the last time I used this) and the app installed.  Then the player window came up but it was blank for about ten seconds.  I then got the toolbar and hit play, and after about five seconds it played.  Not real quick, but java apps aren't in general.

Java running in browsers is very dependent on security settings, especially those related to scripting in the browser itself.
